Footprints in the Snow

 Hey Taborgrassers!

Hope you're all happily full of Turkey and zoom hugs! Zoom Class is coming up on Wednesday, and we've got a new tune for you: the seasonally appropriate, "Footprints in the Snow".

Check out Bill Monroe playing it to get a feel, then have a look at Kaden's video breaking it down a little (his hands are much easier to see than Bill's)

Take care out there!

Hope you're all having a good Thanksgiving lead up! Patrick made a video running through our new tune for tomorrow's Zoom Class, "Someone Took My Place with You". Check it out below or click here.

If we don't see you at the Zoom class, have a great Thanksgiving!

Turkey-day looms!

Happy Thanksgiving Week everyone!

We've got our weekly Zoom Class tomorrow, where we'll be going over Liberty, Nine Pound Hammer, and a brand new tune for Taborgrass, Someone Took My Place with You. Hope to see you there!

Pre-Thanksgiving Zoom Class!

Hey Taborgrassers!

Hope everyone's doing well out there! We've got a pre-Thanksgiving Zoom Class coming your way Wednesday November 25. Hope to see you there!

We talked last week about how many different approaches to "I am a Pilgrim" there are, so we wanted to give you all some examples. Check out these three versions of it below, from Doc Watson, Clarence White and Tony Rice, and The Kentucky Colonels!

Zoom Class, Multnomah County Freeze, and Hazel & Alice!

 Hey Taborgrassers!

Cruising along with our Weekly Zoom Class tomorrow! Hope to see you all there.

In keeping with the current freeze in Multnomah County, all in-person Taborgrass workshops are on hold until further notice. We'll be back in Waverly as soon as it's safe to do so. Thanks for bearing with us!

In the meantime, here's an under-cover Bill Monroe song, "The One I Love is Gone", knocked out of the park by Hazel Dickens and Alice Gerrard. Take care out there!

11/14 Taborgrass Workshops Cancelled

Hey Taborgrassers,

Given the spike in covid cases and the governor's "freeze" in Multnomah county, we've decided to cancel tomorrow's Taborgrass workshops.

We're sorry to do so with such little notice, and hope to get things back on track as soon as possible.  We'll be in touch about what things will look like in the coming weeks. If you were signed up for a workshop on 11/14 and haven't received an email from us, let us know at taborgrass@gmail.com.

In the meantime, enjoy some Bluegrass Album Band playing everyone's favorite G minor fiddle tune, Cheyenne.

G-runningly,

Kaden & Patrick
