Fiddle Workshop with Annie Staninec Tomorrow, Saturday, March 11th at Taborgrass.

Taborgrass is very excited to be hosting Annie Staninec once again for a fiddle workshop - TOMORROW - Saturday, March 11th. 

 

The workshop is an hour and a half from 11:30am to 1pm. 

 

The cost is $10 in addition to your class fee.  Seating is limited to this very popular event.  Taborgrass students have priority.

Mountain Honey and Misty Mamas this Saturday at OBA Eastside Bluegrass Series

Mountain Honey is excited to be sharing the stage with our good friends the Misty Mamas this Saturday, March 11th at the Freedom Foursquare church, 660 SE 160th Ave, Portland, OR 97233, (160th and SE Stark). 

 

Jamming starts at 5:30pm and the show starts at 7pm.  Parking is in the back of the building.  (Keep cruising down the parking lot till you see cars).

Beginning/Intermediate Banjo Class with Mike Stahlman at Taborgrass!

Taborgrass is excited to be hosting banjo great Mike Stahlman (Sawtooth Mountain Boys, Sunny South, Loafers), for 4 classes on Thursday nights starting this Thursday, March 9th in the Chapel at St. David’s.  

Classes start at 7pm.  

The price for all four classes is $60. 

You can pay and register on the first day of class. Banjo students: Don’t miss this opportunity!

Don't Forget: Taborgrass Open Mic Night is TOMORROW - Friday - Jam starts at 6:30, show starts at 7:30

Don't forget that our monthly Open Mic Night at St. David's is TOMORROW, Friday, March 3rd! 

Come on down and support your Taborgrass friends as they get on stage - or put together a few songs by yourself or with some friends and perform yourself! All levels welcome on stage and you'll find a very supportive and encouraging audience.

Festivities start at 6:30pm with an open jam and we'll have pizza available. Bring your own beverages please.  Adult beverages are OK. Show starts at 7:30pm.

Come join in the fun to participate on stage with a sound system, or just come to cheer on your friends! We’ve enjoyed bluegrass, opera, poetry, country music, story telling.  

Suggested donation is $10. Please throw another five bucks in the jar if you are having pizza. 

Linda and Greg will gladly be your back up band if you like.
